Snow blower repair in Hobart, Indiana.
Get it running before the first lake-effect storm, not during it.

Lake County gets its snow off the lake, and it comes in fast. The worst time to find out the snow blower will not start is at six in the morning with a foot on the driveway. The best time is a warm week in the fall, on our bench.
The usual story is the same as a mower: the gas sat since March, the carburetor gummed up, and now it either will not fire or runs for a minute and quits. We clean or rebuild the carb, replace the plug, check the primer bulb and fuel line, and run it. Then we go through the parts that actually move snow: auger, impeller, shear pins, belts, chute and cable. A stripped shear pin or a slipping belt means it starts fine and moves nothing.
Single-stage and two-stage blowers, electric start or pull start, homeowner or heavy. Drop it off in the fall and pick it up ready.
Every machine gets an M6 tag when it comes in. Book a drop-off, or read how the three steps work.
Snow blower questions
When should I bring the snow blower in?
Fall, before the first storm. The shop fills up the week the snow hits. Book it in a warm month and it is ready when the lake-effect starts.
It runs but does not throw snow. Is the engine bad?
Probably not. That is usually shear pins, an auger belt or a stuck impeller. We check the auger drive first and call you with the price before doing anything.
Do you fix single-stage blowers too?
Yes, single-stage, two-stage and the heavy three-stage units. Book a drop-off online or call or text (219) 781-3814.
