Crew chief, then this.
I spent most of my Air Force career as a crew chief on the AC-130J Ghostrider. My job was the airplane: every system, every inspection, every fix, signed off with my name on it before it flew. When a gunship is on the schedule, “probably fine” is not an answer. You find the problem, you fix it right, and you write down what you did.
That is how I run this shop. Your mower, your snow blower, your generator: I look at the whole machine, I find what is actually wrong, and I tell you what it costs before I do anything. Then it goes back to you running, with the work written on the tag.
This is a one-man shop on purpose. The person you talk to on the phone is the person on the bench.
