Riding mower repair in Hobart, Indiana.
Deck, belts, battery, blades. The whole machine, not just the engine.

A riding mower is two machines in one: an engine up front and a cutting deck underneath, with belts, pulleys and a battery tying them together. When one of them acts up the fix is usually simple, but you have to know which one you are looking at.
We take the whole tractor, not just the engine. Dead in the barn after winter is most often a flat battery or old fuel. A deck that will not engage is usually a belt, a pulley or a safety switch. Blades that leave a stripe are bent or dull. We check all of it on the bench, write the findings on the tag and call you with the price before we order a part.
Riders are heavy and awkward to move, so pickup is by request. Tell us on the booking form or when you call and we will confirm what pickup looks like for your address in Lake County or nearby Porter County.
Every machine gets an M6 tag when it comes in. Book a drop-off, or read how the three steps work.
Riding mower questions
Can you pick up my riding mower?
Pickup is by request. Mark it on the booking form or ask when you call, and we confirm the radius and any fee before we come out. Drop-off is the standard.
The deck will not engage. Is that the engine?
Usually not. It is most often a belt, a pulley or a safety switch. We check the deck drive first, write down what we find and call you with the price before touching anything else.
Do you work on lawn tractors and zero-turns too?
Yes. Lawn tractors, garden tractors and zero-turn mowers all come through the shop. Zero-turns have their own page because the hydro drives are a different job.
Bring the riding mower in.
Drop it off. Pick it up running. Book online, or call or text and we will set a time.
